Dr. Gerson Strubel

Internist, Angiologist Head of Angiology and Lymphology, Master of Science in Preventive Medicine

Dr. Gerson Strubel M.D. has acquired many years of experience both nationally and internationally in the outpatient care of patients with vascular issues following his comprehensive internistic and angiological training. He has proven aptitude in vascular ultrasound diagnostics and is among other things director for the training of the vascular ultrasound work group of the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. With him, the Center for Internal Medicine has also expanded its team by an experienced lymphologist, whose special interest lies with patients with lipoedema. The range of services of the Vascular Medicine Department includes the guideline-compliant and evidence-based diagnostics, therapy and prevention of diseases of the arteries and veins on a high medical level. In addition to personal medical expertise, the Center of Internal Medicine offers state-of-the-art technical procedures, in particular for the examination of circulatory disorders in diabetes mellitus. This ensures the best possible individualized patient care.  Another major area of focus is the interdisciplinary edema briefing for the diagnosis of lymphological pathology, including lipoedema, as well as the differentiated and stage-appropriate multimodal treatment in a competence network for lymphology.
