Prof. Dr Petra-Maria Schumm-Draeger is a guest on O-Ton Innere Medizin and talks about how the Codex has raised awareness of the need to critically address the issue of economisation in medicine.

Among other things, he will talk about how the Codex specifically supports doctors who are exposed to economic pressure in their everyday work in hospitals or outpatient care and what the next step could be to make the Codex more effective. The question of why not all colleagues seem to support this kind of commitment to an ethical obligation is also addressed.
