Dr. med. Stefanie Rosner

Specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, additional qualification in heart failure (DGK)

Dr Stefanie Rosner, a specialist in cardiology and internal medicine, joined our team in September 2024. She has many years of experience in the entire spectrum of cardiology from her work at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases at the German Heart Centre Munich (DHM). There, under the supervision of Prof. Dr Heribert Schunkert, she underwent further training as a cardiologist and, before moving to the Zentrum / Interne Medizin / Fünf Höfe, managed the private outpatient clinic at the DHM, including carrying out cardiological and angiological functional diagnostics.

As a long-standing expert in heart failure, she also headed the heart failure outpatient clinic at the DHM and was active for many years as a study physician in international heart failure studies, among others. She also gained valuable experience in lipidology under the direction of Prof. Dr Wolfgang Koenig and was also involved in numerous lipidological studies as a study physician.

She is experienced in all conservative cardiological functional diagnostics, with a focus on transthoracic echocardiography, stress and contrast echocardiography, as well as spiroergometry. She also has expertise in sports medicine performance diagnostics thanks to her rotation in sports medicine at the Technical University of Munich and corresponding further training.

For several years, Dr Rosner was on call at the German Heart Centre for cardiological emergencies, including emergency cardiological functional diagnostics. She also worked in internal intensive care medicine at the Klinikum rechts der Isar.

Born in Munich, she studied at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and gained valuable insights into American healthcare through numerous internships in the USA in addition to her extensive practical experience at the LMU clinics.

Dr Rosner is married and has 2 children.
